Is anyone else’s wedding in November 2020 and starting to get worried? Especially since I’ve heard that the virus could come back in the fall.. my wedding is November 14th.. my heart hurts so bad for everyone that had to reschedule 😢 I can only imagine how heartbreaking that must be..

Ugh yes! I rescheduled from 3/27 to 11/20 and I’m still worried lol. Mainly because by then I do think the shelter in place orders and quarantines will be lifted but it’s tough to say whether not we’ll have a cure or a vaccine so it would be unpredictable and we’d still have the same issue if it were to resurface so a second wave is DEF a concern for me lol. Not to mention once all of these closures are lifted, I doubt it would be back to the same care free type of wedding we were used to... like I’d imagine there would be new regulations we’d all have to navigate like new guest size limits, travel regulations for guests out of state, guest distancing like table seating arrangement rules or ceremony distancing and still continue to practice extreme hygiene like masks or hand sanitizer the whole time and then also what happens to buffet style for dinner or cocktail hour? What about the dance floor? There’s definitely a lot that will still be impacted even after this is quote unquote ‘over’ but I’m trying to stay positive! I’m trusting that all of our vendors and the wedding industry experts will do all they can do ensure everyone’s health and safety while still making sure it’s the most memorable experience for us brides. But until then, kinda just taking it day by day.

Yes I’m a November 2020 wedding and even I’m nervous now. Not only for how long social distancing is gonna last but how comfortable people will be to go out once it’s lifted

Hi date twin! I am more concerned about people getting back on their feet and normalcy right now rather than a resurgance, its a pit feeling in my stomach Smiley sad

What I've learned from this pandemic is that no date or month or event is safe from this thing. I say November is too far from now to make a prediction so give it a few months and see how it all goes!

If you are getting nervous, you can look into a back up plan just in case you need to use it.

I'm a Nov 14 2020 bride too and a front line employee. We will make a decision in July if need be. For now I am carrying on as normal but we have discussed the potential of a "soft" rescheduled date. It comes down to your stress, but I think it's a little too early for our wedding date groupies to cancel, but its your day and your stress level.

    Great advice Dierdra! 👏

It never hurts to know your options and look at potential backup dates, but I would proceed with wedding planning for now! Setting a personal "postponement decision" deadline is helpful, I think reevaluating 1-2 months before your wedding date is a good timeframe!

I am the same date as you. I am just waiting and hoping things will pan out but if they don't I want to have a plan B. right now plan is to wait till I know I have to execute a plan B.
