Should I buy lipstick or let my wedding makeup artist use her own?

I can't decide whether to buy some lipstick so I can reapply during the night. I'm not getting a makeup trial because she knows my skin and I trust her. I did get a hair style trial though. My makeup artist always does my makeup so she knows my skin. I don't always like what she gives me for my lips...

Should I buy lipstick/makeup or let her choose?

I loved the one she used at my trial and as a part of my package she is buying me that lipstick to keep so I can reapply during the course of the day

I'm buying my own. I'm going to try lipsense. It's supposed to stay on for 12+ hours

If you're not doing a trial, I highly suggest using your own lipstick. Choose a brand that you trust- I recommend going to a store where you can play around with the product and/ even take a sample. Test it out for a couple of days and see how you feel.

Ask her before hand if she can use one you could purchase from her for the evening. The last time I had my make up done I was given a little container with the lip gloss in it so I could reapply as needed.

I ended up buying my own after the MUA told me which one it was, it's a really wearable color so I didn't mind.

@Mrs. Fall Bride - I did something similar! I lovvvved the colors my MUA used on me during the trial, so I asked her what they were so I could pick them myself to keep on me during my wedding day. Almost everything she used was Bobbi Brown, so it was easy for me to pick up the same lip colors that I kept in a little clutch so I could reapply throughout the night.

I'm going to let her pick, then go buy it for touch ups.

Why would you not want your own?

I would say get your own. I don't have experience with it personally but I've seen Lipsense recommended time and time again. I am definitely going to check it out myself.
