Let me start off by saying that I fully understand heels will not be seen under your dress and probably arent the most important thing when it comes to the full gown. When I first started wedding shopping, I knew the only way I would even buy heels would be if I found ones that were exactly (not a thing off) what I wanted and if they matched my bouquet. I've been fully content with wearing converse. My fiance and I were going to get matching shoes and have the photographer take some cute pics of our shoes. However, I literally just stumbled across what I can only call my dream wedding heels. It's like the vision in my head of the heels I wanted copy-pasted onto a shoe in real life. Bottom line--I want the shoes. I'm also a shoe person through and through, and I would for sure wear these after our wedding day (elopement day) rather for us lol.

But here's the catch....they are $400 and no way could I ever imagine spending that much on shoes. Even still, I've sat with this over a few days, and I can't stop thinking about the shoes lol. If you were in my position would you buy them or not...I'm so stuck! This is genuinely upsetting me more than it should be LOL

Get the shoes!! It’s the one thing you can splurge on for the wedding and for afterwards 😊.

I would never spend $400 on shoes of any kind for any reason (unless medically necessary to live day to day life). But I'm also not really a shoe person. My priorities for where I would want to spend my money in my budget would be elsewhere. Buuuuut... if that's where you want to invest your money, who am I or anyone else to judge. It is your wedding, your money, you know your budget and what you want and can afford. If you find it worth it, then by all means get them.

Have you thought of finding something similar but cheaper? I'm sure there are a pair of shoes out there like that that are much cheaper. Also make sure they will be comfy. You will be standing and dancing a lot.

If I were in your position, I would buy them! This is an amazing day and you should look exactly like you've always wanted. I bet a picture of those shoes will be one that brings find memories. If it won't break you, go for it!!

I have. I promise you I’ve scoured every single website I could possibly find and haven’t found a shoe that looks even remotely close to those lol. The main reason why I’m so intent on just splurging is because I can’t find any that look like them lol. I’ve even tried finding a pair that doesn’t look like them but I still love and I keep comparing every shoe to those ones lol. I’ve heard a lot of reviews about the shoes from that company being super comfy!

Look at what you just said…. You keep comparing every other shoe to this one. Isn’t that what we tell brides with their wedding dresses?. When you find the one you can’t stop thinking of and you are comparing every other dress to, you’ve found THE ONE! It sounds like you’ve found your shoes, girl! I’d order them so you can see them in person, try them on with your dress, and walk around in them. See if you love them as much in person. See if they look perfect with your dress. See if they are comfortable. If they are everything you’d hoped they be, then yay! And if they don’t live up to the hype IRL, you have 30 days to return them. Plus then at least you will know, rather than always wonder “what if”.

I'm a big believer in "nothing is worth more than what you're willing to pay for it". If you really want these shoes and you're willing to pay the $400, I say go for it. It's your wedding, it's a once in a lifetime thing. If you can afford it and you can't stop thinking about them, do it! My wedding is in October and I just got my hair colored... I spent way more than I'm willing to even share (my hair is superrrr long). It's something I've been wanting to do for a long time, but couldn't justify the cost. I figured my wedding day is the perfect time to do it! Go for it if you are able to. Life is short Smiley smile

If you want, purchase them. I personally am a shoe fanatic and have many, many shelves in my closet for them. I don’t know if I’d ever spend $405 on them though. My wedding shoes cost half that, but they’re simple, custom fit, and hand made. The reason I spent so much on mine were for fit and that they’re super easy to wear for many occasions.
If your heart and wallet say it’s doable, I don’t see why you shouldn’t.

Wow. That is wonderful he did that for you. The dilemma is resolved. I have a hard time spending money but that was solved so well here.

They don’t look like $400 shoes; imo. I wore shoes like that in high school. If you LOVE them get them for your wedding. Personally I think you can find better for $400. I’m not a “shoe” person but I’m in to designer clothing and bags…. Those aren’t worth it.

Lol definitely your opinion. I wasn’t looking for a designer shoe I wanted a shoe that matched my bouquet and wedding theme—these are it. My fiancé ended up buying them for me anyways.

Congratulations glad you’re fiancé purchased them for you! Oh n when you ask for people’s opinions don’t reply “definitely your opinion” when you asked for it? Agree or disagree don’t ask for opinions if you don’t want them. Thanks

Last time I checked I never asked for your opinion on what the shoe looked like. Someone asked to see the shoe and I showed them. All I asked was if you would spend $400 on a shoe for your wedding. All you had to say was “no I wouldn’t spend $400 on a shoe for my wedding” just like a lot of other people did and move on. Instead you said “those look like shoes I wore in high school.”

I was in the same boat, I planned on wearing glittery sneakers. Then I came across these gorgeous Betsy Johnson sparkly boots (way more than I intended to spend. I purchased them and have no regrets. While most folks didn't see the shoes right away, trust me I managed to show them off. Got many compliments on them too. I say if your still thinking about them, get them as long as it doesn't tax out your budget to the extreme.
