Should I go commando?

Hi everyone! I am recently engaged and am planning a wedding for May 2018. I have already tried on dresses and am seriously considering a very form fitting dress with crepe fabric (Pronovias Oreste). With this type of dress, the salesperson at the bridal shop said it was best to go commando. I do not have a problem with this, but wanted to see if anyone one else had any suggestions on brands of under garments that are undetectable under thin fabric or any experience with this issue. Thanks!

I have added a picture down below in the comments.

I completely forgot that my senior year prom dress had a similar back to your dress except the see through part went all the way down so you could see the top part of my butt crack (I am super short so normally the dress wouldn't sit there on a taller girl). The seamstress ended up sewing in a nude swimsuit liner to cover my butt crack. No one could tell and everyone just thought it was my back. I was able to wear a thong with it because I was too self conscious to go commando.

As long as you don't leak liquids like others on this thread and/or have large vagina lips that would cause camel toe in a freaking dress, your fine. Go commando.

I wear underwear all the time. I HAVE to. I literally cannot go without it, it freaks me out and idk why. But I say go commando in that dress. It is stunning and you look amazing in it. I, like you, would be afraid of underwear lines in the back. Either a nude thong or none at all will work with it!

I think you should wear some sort of panty, weather it's a g string or a very seamless pair of panties.

Gown is gorgeous! The bottom of my gown is also crepe, and I'll be wearing the nude spanx that start at the bra line and end under the knee.

The vagina is a self cleansing organ, I will leave it at that, or you could go with this weird thing!

I'm wearing a "commando" brand thong under my dress. They are expensive, but get the job done seamlessly - pun intended. I would absolutely not be comfortable going commando the day of - but then I'm also getting married outside in Houston in the late spring. All of my bits will be a swampy disaster with or without undies.

If you're ok with it what does it matter what anyone thinks... I don't know of any undergarments to recommend

On the average day I go commando so I see nothing wrong with it. I hate undergarments

Does your dress have a big open back? I tried on a very similar dress that I loved but ultimately decided against it because of the material and being worried it would show every lump and bump. I think its up to you to see how it looks if you are commando and how it looks if you could find some sort of thin underswear/spanx/whatever you find that works that is less visible.

Soma has a vanishing edge panty, maybe buy a pair and see what it looks like.

First, that dress is amazing and you look gorgeous! If you're ok with commando, go for it. If not, look into what some of the PPs said, their suggestions are great!

I would personally be very uncomfortable all no with no undergarments. You have a may wedding, what if it's wicked hot that day and your sweating? umm no thanks

Ambrielle is my new favorite brand of panties. They are essentially seamless, though I'd still recommend the thong for your dress, rather than the full coverage panty. I generally get them from JC Penney, but I've found them on Amazon as well - they're super affordable!

If you go without panties normally that's a personal choice but IMO it's a public event and what if god forbid something slipped out or someone got a glimpse of all that biz. Are you doing a garter? Grandma might faint at seeing your roast beefs. Just saying.... I'm sure FH won't mind either way.

I need underwear and spandex. I have thick thighs and the last thing I need is chub rub on my wedding day.

There's some seamless panties at WalMart (I bought several the other day).

Also, a thong would probably work too.

Not that I've ever tried one, but have you considered a c-string?
