My wedding was scheduled to be June 13, 2020...I haven’t postponed in hopes all this will get back to normal especially since I live here in Texas and the state is reopening somewhat! Should I postpone?? I need help 😭😭😭

Ugh, ours is the same date and we just made the decision last night to reschedule til July 17, 2021.....it’s killing me to think we have to wait that long, especially where the clock for babies is ticking, so I’m not sure if we will try to just do something smaller sometime sooner. Either way, our June 13th is not happening. I just didn’t want there to be a weird vibe even If people were able to attend! Also, really sick of talking about COVID and didn’t want that to consume our day as well! The honeymoon wasn’t going to happen either so that was a big part of the decision. This is all just a really unfair situation!

I honeslty would say depending on what phrase your state will be at by June and also depends on the size of guest you guys are inviting. If you do decied to postpone ...giving guest a heads up inadvance is way better bc today is may 1st. I will also consider if ppl been cancelling due to the virus. Good luck

    Hi Vanessa,

I'm so sorry you are going through this! If I were in your shoes, I would consider starting a plan b. While plan b might not feel ideal, I would hate for you to wait too long and then your event has to be postponed anyways.

Have you connected with your vendors? I would see if they have more availability in the fall or even next year. Also, it may help you make your decision if you can connect with other couples planning June weddings:

Thank you all! We have officially rescheduled did July 17, 2021. Although this is not ideal, it is what it is and the weight of the stress is lifted and feels GREAT!!
