Should I wear Glasses for engagement photos and wedding???

Elizabeth, on April 28, 2016 at 9:31 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

I'm having my engagement photos done in a couple weeks and I'm debating wearing my glasses for them and also for my wedding. I can see up close without my glasses but everything is blurry and for medical reasons I can not wear contacts. Everyone is used to seeing me in glasses but I'm worried about how it will affect pictures (I do have anti glare and anti scratch lenses) and I also don't want to look old.. When I think of me wearing glasses for everything wedding related I remember my mom's wedding picture and it makes me nervous..

I think if people are used to seeing you in them, then you should. I wear contacts, but FH wears glasses and it was never even a discussion that he wouldn't have them on that day and for pictures.

I'm absolutely wearing my glasses- no one except my fiancé and mom have really seen me without them and I can't wear contacts either.

Wear them! I get my prescription glasses through zennioptical.com and have gotten lots of compliments on them if you want to try something a little different. You can get a few pairs at their prices!

Wear them. Give your photographer a heads up, but he or she should know how to shoot your photos correctly with your glasses.

If you need them, wear them. No reason to be miserable because you can't see. As PP said talk to your photographer.

I wear glasses as well, but planning on not wearing them for wedding. I will take some with and some without!

FH wears glasses and he's wearing them for anything wedding related, including pictures. It would be weird if he didn't, as he rarely takes them off so no one really sees him without them.

If I couldn't wear my contacts I'd definitely wear my glasses

I am in this same situation! E-pics next weed but planning on glasses. I made a post about this recently in regards to wedding, didn't know about glasses for pics but I think I'm going for it!

FH wears glasses and pretty sure he will have them on during pictures. I say go with what you are comfortable with.

Good question, my glasses turn dark in the sun and I'm having an outdoor weddin . May have to consider taking them off until sun goes down!

I'm wearing mine. Make sure yours aren't transition lenses.
