Should I wear heels or keep the height difference?

I don't understand how he looks better when you don't wear heels.

Maybe the medium heels? I honestly think if you guys are the same height it won't matter to much and it sounds like you will be happier with the tall heels.

I don't think heels will make you look thinner in a floor length gown. I'd personally ditch them.

A "cuter couple" when you don't have heels on...? What?

Wear what you want to wear. Unless FH for some reason has a strong issue with you being the same height as him.

I look better in flats because I am not stumbling around like a fool(like I would be doing in heels)

I am noticeably taller than FH so heels are a no-go because he doesn't want to feel like a dwarf on our wedding day. Wear whatever you are both comfortable with. You'll be a cute couple no matter what shoes you have on.

Wear what you feel beautiful in. Remember the dress will be covering your legs so the effect will really add height more than slimming affect to your body. If you like how you feel in heels but don't want to feel like you are too tall choose short or medium heels. Remember that you will probably be wearing those shoes ALL DAY though, and you want to feel comfortable and want to dance and talk to everyone. If you wear heels often and are comfy and feel pretty in them, go with that. Otherwise go with flats. Your dress is going to cover your shoes anyway unless it's a short dress!

I agonized over this for nothing, I'm about 5'6" and my husband is 5'7".....I wore kitten heels for the ceremony and we were similar height but his dress shoes added so much height for him it didn't matter. I wore flats for the reception because being comfortable was more important to me and our pics looked like this, he has never looked this tall haha (when I wear average heels on a night out I feel like I tower over him) I think a lot of it is just in our heads, do what you feel prettiest in and don't worry about a thing because it will all work out in the end, don't over think it!

I asked FH what he prefers and he likes when the top of my head comes to his chin. Flats it is!
