Show me your.....Cake Stand!

I can't decide on a cake stand! My cake will be a purple ombre cake with gold accents so I want to keep the stand simple! I'm either thinking clear acrylic, white, or something with gold! I have been looking at these! Let me see your cake stand!

@m that is probably the only time in my life I would have actually noticed a cake stand lol. Awesome.

Ladies, i can't find a cake stand for under $100 anywhere thats 16" wide. Am I being unrealistic? I have looked a rental places with no luck. My baker does not carry them. Most of the ones I do see are silver and I need gold or white.

Sounds par for the course for wedding related items! And not to be a Debbie-Downer, but is your bottom tier 16"? If it is, you're going to want to look for a larger stand than what your bottom tier is. Just throwing that out there because I didn't really think about that when I was looking at stands a while back. My baker said I would need to go with one at least 4 inches larger than the bottom tier. Just for comparison, we're renting ours for $100 so I'd say if you can buy one for that much, it might not be a bad deal. You can always post it on various wedding resale sites after the wedding and try to get some of the $$ back at least.

@Summer Thanks! My bottom tier is actually 12". I asked the baker and she suggested 16" but no bigger than 18" so i'm focusing on 16" You may be right in terms of price. I just can't believe they are so expensive!
