Show me your Engagement Ring!!!

No story behind mine other than I LOVE IT I can't stop looking at it and it's been months!

First two pics are my e-ring and the last pic is with my wedding bands!

Love everyone's rings!

FH purchased my e-ring and band as a set. FH took his step-mom with him when he picked it out and apparently everyone except me knew about it and had seen it at least 6 weeks before he proposed. I love it and was completely shocked when he proposed the day after our daughter was born. We knew we were going to be life partners but marriage wasn't a topic we discussed a lot.

What beautiful rings you all have! I have no fancy story. We went to 'look' at rings one day to just show one another what each other liked for future reference. The ring I saw online and fell in love with was not in the store so looked at what was available. When I found a ring I really liked FH told the sales lady we would take it then turned to me and proposed in the store. I said yes! But there was still that other ring I actually wanted more than the one I picked that day and the sales lady hunted it down and got it sized for me! Essentially, I picked it out and he bought it!

He designed the ring to resemble a Tudor rose (I'm a history nut, especial the Tudor and Stuart eras). The gold and diamonds came from his family's jewelry, but the ruby and emeralds are new. The sides are branches that extend to both the front and back, so a band wouldn't work - I wear my band on my middle finger.

Mine - It's a set! The stones surrounding the ring are the band. No Story - he picked it out himself.

Here's mine! We just went to the jeweler yesterday for a final fitting for the wedding band. The band will be exactly like the wedding ring but will not go up as high, so that I have the option of wearing the band alone.

Oh this is such a fun page! I love it! So many gorgeous rings.

My FH was such a little sneak when he was about to propose. I was so lost when he told me he couldn't find "the ring he wanted" and I was so worried. BUT. He pulled through. He designed the whole thing! We had talked about rings several months before we got engaged and he remembered it all. The wedding band slides into the engagement ring and builds a little bridge between the diamonds.

It's everything I ever wanted and so much more. Plus it comes with this amazing man who agreed to be my husband in 37 days!
