Show me your shoes! 👡

I thought I was going to wear heels, but after my engagement pics and how bad my feet hurt after that, I’m going the sneaker route. I bought these, but not “married” to them.

I'm not a heel gal either, going for cute and comfort. I think I'm going to get this faux leather boots. Thought about doing some white vans also lol

Since the cute shoes were to uncomfortable for me, I got my favorite shoes Converse design your own! Feet feel so much better it’s like being barefoot almost!

I chose Louboutins! I was wearing a pair when I first met my fiance at a fancy charity ball, and so wearing them on our wedding day was a sentimental choice.

I also had a pair of satin ballet flats that I bought from a ballet store, thinking they would be super comfortable. Well, they WERE comfortable. Until they got wet and literally FELL APART. The sole and the fabric of the shoe parted ways after we walked in the vines in them - for probably... 10 minutes max? One of our guests tried to duct tape them back together but they were way to wet for it to work, lol.

I wish I'd trusted myself and worn a pair of flats I know and love instead of those, haha! I have to be the only person I know who had an issue with her FLATS on her wedding day!

View Quoted Comment Hi yes! My colors are navy and light blue and gold/white. The blue and gold happens to be my sorority colors. So I tried to tie it all in as it’s a big part of the celebration as well.

Thank you! And I'm very lucky, a lot of people find their shoes too narrow, but I have a narrow foot already, so they're not really that uncomfortable on me and they don't rub, it's usually just my arches that get sore.

And I know! I couldn't believe my bad luck with the flats! I actually just threw the flats out and went around barefoot for a lot of the time - my dress was so big no one was going to see my feet anyway, lol. I told one of the guests though, and she was so horrified she hunted me down a guest with spare flats in my size that I could borrow! What an ANGEL! And the guest told me they were super cheap and to keep them! Also an angel! One of my favourite memories, actually, how thoughtful that was.
