You're pretty much right up my alley as to what I'm looking for! Totally agree though, I'd also go a little bit softer on the lip as well. (Poor FH, he doesn't really like lipstick, but I do. So I sorta need to tone it down as well.) I love your hair too, is that also how you're doing that?

I pretty much bought every red matte lipstick in Ulta to try lol. Yes that’s how my hair will be but 8 months longer. Here’s mine from the other day. I posted questioning if I should go more darker on the eyes for more drama lol.

I did my own makeup for my wedding, because I’m one of those terrible people who changes things anytime someone else does my hair or makeup. After years and years of trial and error (and very awkward jrhigh years) I finally feel makeup competent... At least enough to make me look slightly prettier with better eyebrows.

I think I'm going to do something like this! These pictures are from my DIY makeup trial from a couple of months ago. I need to do another trial to make sure!

I think I'll ask her to go a little darker, add darker eyeliner to the corner on my bottom lash, smoke it out a bit, and add mascara to my barely there bottom lashes lol. I also went with natural false lashes but they actually didn't show in the photos as much so I'll go a bit longer. I want it a bit more heavy but not to where my fiance doesn't recognize me haha.

I normally just fill in my brows, winged eyeliner and some mascara. I barely wear eyeshadow, I'd like to wear it darker but even if I try, it shows up as barely there in photos. I'm not too good at makeup lol. I think I'd just look better a bit darker.

Well since you are doing your own makeup for your wedding, I think it's a great idea to do some experimenting to figure out what way you like it!

I love the color choice for the eyes and lips! This is the type of look I really want to do as well. Very pinky/purple. And the soft romantic curls. I love it!

I JUST had my trial two weeks ago!! The lip color will be a bit darker, and matte!! I really don't like the feeling of lip gloss, and a good matte doesn't budge! Which is a plus!
