Never thought I'd be in a fitted dress, but just loved that back so much! Opted more for beading than the classic lace

I don't have any pictures of me in my dress, yet, but here it is.

You should check out Amazon. I know it sounds insane but they actually have a large number of dresses that are on prime with free returns. Overall I tried on about 20 different dresses some where the same just in different sizes. They were all pretty good quality. I tried some of the dresses on 2 or 3 different times over several weeks. It also let me figure out what styles I liked. The one I picked was the one I liked the best every time I tried it on.

The prices on them are also amazing so you could put more money into alterations or other areas of your wedding. My sister used to work at a bridal shop so she was able to help me adjust the dresses for how they could be altered and how to adjust them for trying on. With everybody doing home dress try-on's I am sure that there are how-too websites that one of your brides maids could become an expert at it to help. Biggest tip I have is if you are short try your dress on while standing on a stool so you can see how the dress falls once it is hemmed.

I saw your dress post in another separate post - and I have to say, I think you are KILLING IT in the second dress! I know that the first dress was a totally different dress in the original post, but the second is the same. And that second one is still so beautiful and unique. Either way, I hope you pick whatever dress you feel the most beautiful and comfortable and like yourself in.

Hi! So I didn't offer my opinion up the first time around because I fell victim to the idea of "oh, everyone is saying dress #1, let me not be the only one saying #2...". But seeing it in this post, I had to give my thoughts. I think the first one looks like it fits you like a glove, showing off those curves in such a beautiful way. Obviously, Rachel, the absolute most important thing is that you DON'T feel self-conscious every second of your big day, and believe me when I say that I know EXACTLY how difficult that can be. But I think this dress fits and compliments so well - the way the details define and follow your body is so complimenting. Again, if you don't find yourself able to feel beautiful in it because you're too preoccupied with thinking about feeling "fat" in it, then I would hope you can cancel it or put the money towards another dress. BUT if you decide you love the dress and those thoughts just poke through, if you can find a way to shift into the thought of I LOOK LIKE A KILLER IN THIS, then it'll show. Sorry SO long, but I just know where you're at and wanted to share my thoughts. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Lol.
