Got my four hostesses gifts for the bridal shower my mom’s friends are throwing me! Also just learned today that FH’s family is going to throw us a shower up in Wichita when we visit in July 😊 super excited and blessed!

I don’t know who/how many people will be hosting the Wichita shower, I assuming I still should get them something as a thank you, correct? Or is that more on FH as its his family?

I’m happy you shared this, because I hadn’t even thought about shower hostess gifts. Oops! Shower isn’t until August though. And I’m not sure about your question... I don’t know what the proper etiquette is there. 🤔

Haha my shower isn’t until July 28 either, I just knew this would be a good time to buy my stuff because it’s the semi-annual sale at BBW!

If it's a bridal shower, you should give a hostess gift. If it's a coed wedding shower, either/both of you can provide the gift.

I would just ask your FMIL or a member of the family. If it's a bridal shower and not a couples shower, you should get the gift, but if it's a couple shower you both could get it!
