Shower Invitations

Kevin, on January 9, 2020 at 8:39 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4
We have planned my bridal shower for the weekend of Labor Day and wedding is in October. It was the only weekend that worked for all my bridesmaids because some are flying down for it. My question is how far out in advance should you send the shower invitations? And should we send them earlier since it will be a holiday weekend? We are planning on sending our wedding invites 2 months out the first week of August.

Honestly I would now because you would be surprised how far in advance adults make vacation plans around holiday weekends. No later than March I would say or at least let them know to keep the date open. I book travel like months in advance for cheaper tickets.

My MOH is requesting guests to RSVP by April 5th for my bridal shower on April 18th. I'm assuming she'll send out invitations by mid February. But since your shower is on a holiday weekend, I think invitations should be sent out at least 2 months in advance.

    Hey there, Megan!

I too would advise at least 2 months in advance to allow people time to plan and make travel arrangements! Does this work for you?
