Hahaha I'm getting married the month after you & I'm having my shower in November to, hopefully, avoid inclement weather and the holidays

Mine was just this past weekend sept 21st and my wedding is October 26th. I think atleast a month or two before the wedding is best. Because that seems to be when the excitement really starts to build everyone really starts hunkering down for the wedding.

I’m getting married 2.20.20 and my shower is Nov. 16th. I like the time in between especially before the holiday chaos! January is too close to the wedding.

Our wedding is February 1 2020 so we are doing my shower November 9 2019. Before the holidays but also not super close to the wedding date.

My shower is probably going to be in March and my bachelorette party the end of March and I’m getting married May 2nd. I want to be as convenient as I can for everyone. I suppose the shower could be earlier but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with doing it later if that’s a time that works for everyone. You could definitely bring up the idea of mid December but that really is a crazy time for a lot of people. I’d try to do the first or second weekend in January. Everyone is in town and the Christmas and holiday parties are all over so everyone should be free to celebrate you!

I moved across the nation to be with my dude as it was the best for us. My friends from where I used to live had a shower for me this past summer when I was visiting my Maid of Honor. My peeps where I now live are having a shower for me in October. Wedding in December. Hope that helps!

January is perfect. Showers are generally between 2 months and 2 weeks before the wedding

January would be fine since your wedding is the end of February! We are having my Bridal shower in May with a June wedding date. I would for sure try to avoid the holidays as that can be chaotic and I think having it sooner would be a little too soon.

No my wedding is October 6th, and my shower was last weekend. It’s common to have it at most a month before the wedding
