That's awesome! I don't think it's a huge problem if she didn't plan it, unless it causes drama between the girls for overstepping boundaries. BTW you look genuinely happy!! Yay!

My favorite part of the weekend was that I finally got to meet my nephew before we had to leave for the plane.

This is how we felt by the end of the weekend. I dragged myself at 5:30am this morning to work. I was literally falling asleep going home because I must've only slept 5 hours a night while I was in NJ. It was so nice to spend time with everyone. Wish I had more time. But the next time I will see everyone, I will be a married woman! 80 more days to go!

Beach bride - well I can pretty much say that 5 of the girls are not big fans of the MOH. She literally sat at another table while my cousin had reserved one entire table for the bridal party. So I had to bring her to the table to talk to them about the wedding plans. Yes I was so happy! Susan - I had a blast!

It looks like you had a great time. I suggest you edit your thread and remove your complaint about your MOH. I don't understand the need to slag someone that you supposedly care for ( she is your MOH) publicly. Be a better person.

Why would you want to deliberately hurt her like this? It's amazing how often something posted on social media gets back to the person involved.

You look like you had a wonderful time! My only question ; when you said the only downfall about the whole thing was that your maid of honor lacked creating the bridal shower, what do you mean? Technically your bridal party is only required to show up the day of wedding in the dress or color of your choosing. It was wonderful and thoughtful of your cousin to take over the bridal shower , but it isn't required that the maid of honor organize and host it. My bridal shower was on 6/24/17 as well and my maid of honor didn't even show up, but she lives states away so I knew she wouldn't attend.

Sam - basically, there were things that were divided by all of them to take care of and she didn't live up to the expectations. That's what I heard. They are trying not to tell me much. But she texted me and admitted that she didn't really do much for the shower. But it's no big deal. It turned out to be great anyways

Glad you had a lovely time, I was just saying that the way it sounds to me was that the MOH had high expectations about planning the shower and didn't do it so someone else had to take over. But I'm glad you and everyone had a good time!

Sam - lol no. I think she was so overwhelmed and didn't know how to run a party or whatnot. Where my cousin who took over is a mother so she's thrown a million of parties. Either way, it turned out great and I loved it
