Showering together: romantic or not?

@CrtnJ, if FH wants to shower with me, he has to deal with the shower cap! It's not sexy but it gives us a good laugh, especially since I have multiple caps with different designs.

We shower together at night before bed. Otherwise, we shower separately. Shower sex rarely happens...neither of us are a huge fan...but it's nice to just soak in the hot water and chat after a long day.

I have long long hair, past my butt. Having this much hair wet isn't going to make things even a little fun. That being said, I think when you are young, newly in Love and have no kids, it can be sexy. When you have a kid who never leaves you alone, any private moment anywhere is not to be messed with. As you shower with a 3 year old begging at the door with their fingers stuck under the door trying desperately to get to you, well it changes things.

FH has the cutest butt I have ever seen, I just can't get enough of him naked lol

I love it! We dont always have sex in there but the time together is just fun and romantic! We have a daughter so alone time doesn't happen much lol

Not something that FH and I have ever tried. I'd be open to it but I think he likes showering alone

I am shocked people shower with their partner every day! FH & I have pretty different schedules, but even if not, I can get in and out of the shower way faster without him there!! We do shower together on the weekends or otherwise when we're both home or just need to shower off. He's a shower hog, though, so I always pout about that!

Shower sex does not happen, though. FH is 6'6, so we've never been able to figure it out

We do once in a while and sometimes it can be hot but then we remember how hard it is to have sex in the shower lol. I'm not a teeny tiny girl so yeah, I prefer a bed lol. But it does get us all geared up lol

Personally, I would love to have my shower to myself. DH *really* hears love through physical affection, though-- no two ways about it, so I smile and share the shower.

We've never showered together. I leave for work before he wakes up, so our schedules aren't in sync. And on the weekends, I'm still up and ready before him.

We do about one-two times a week. Usually during the week he likes to shower at night I shower in the morning after he leaves for work. Our shower is so small I can't wait to renovate our bathrooms and make the shower bigger and better

So nice to know were not the only ones who shower together 90% of the time. It does feel weird if we don't together!

Showers are good for getting warmed up, but the real fun starts when we get out and do it facing the mirror above the sink! ;-)

We have showered together every night for the last 2.5 years unless we aren't together, like when he works out of state all summer. It is a great time just talking about things that happened during the day and what not. Sometimes it is annoying when his elbows are in my space but otherwise it's nice.

When we have the day off together and the kids are gone we'll shower together. We have control issues with temperature lol, I like scalding hot and he is more tepid. We shower more in the summer together because it gets really cold in our house.

Romantic FH and I are distance, but when I'm with him we usually shower together...but he gets out to shave his face in the mirror and i shave in the shower after he gets out. idn why you ladies like shower sex so much. it always SOUNDS way better than it is. water = friction. we'll have sex outside the shower and then get in. but even that is rare. it's just the intimacy and romance I love

We do occasionally. when we do it's romantic. when I first moved in, DH would come join me more often, but we also had less going on then. right now we both have a lot on our schedules, but I love it when it happens.

I am not a fan. Sex is awkward and uncomfortable and if sex isn't involved, then I just want to wash, shave and be on my way. Thankfully FH feels the same.

About half the time, and we usually don't have shower sex. It's just nice to snuggle under the warm water and kiss and wash each other's backs. I dunno. It's a different sort of intimacy for me and I love it

We love showering together.we don't have sex in the shower though not enough space and the height difference.
