Showering together: romantic or not?

We have never showered together. We did take a bubble bath once. I'm open to it though. Our schedules are different, I'm a morning shower person and he's a night shower person. As far as sex in the shower that doesn't sound appealing. The intimacy part you all speak of certainly has me thinking though. I may suggest it.

When we lived in house with 5 other housemates, we showered together everyday. We shower together once in while for fun, but when it comes to getting clean - leave me alone! :-)

I love it...except our shower is rather small...but that only adds to the laughs! Like AlmostMrsKing, our showers rarely result in sex...but it definitely is intimacy.

We've showered together 3x since this thread started.

I'd rather shower alone and then he can jump in. Then get out so I can shower alone again lol idk I dont like showering together thats just me.

Its really uncomfortable too. Its just for silly laughs and smiles cus we can you know.

Lol. I just can't get into it. Especially shower sex. I just don't get it. It's so awkward. I'd rather just clean, get out. No thanks.

I don't feel like it's "romantic" but it can be fun! I don't think I could shower with FH daily. We're going to be buying and installing the Kohler 12-head shower after we're married so potentially we could but it's too distracting. And he's too hairy.

For the shower sex it's definately a bonus lol however if it's not for that, showering together is a bit difficult at times because he likes the water scorching hot where as I like it warm haha I definately would like a dual showerhead shower in our dream home

We used to all the time but now it's like we fight over who gets the water cuz I freeze and we just clean and get out!! Lol so we just shower separate. Plus he takes a 5 minute shower and I take 10-15 minutes.

We do it occasionally but our shower really is too small for 2 people. It's separate from the tub so we don't do it a lot. Baths are much more fun.

So long as the air isn't cold and I don't need to shave or anything... (shaving my armpits with him next to me trying to share the water is not romantic at all!) I'm all for it. Sometimes it's nice to shower together! Although be careful... we have had some injuries doing so (a bad concussion one of them). We haven't showered together since.

We have a few times, but never shower sex, that would be awkward. I'm a bigger girl and our shower isnt very big. Im not a fan, I don't like trying to shuffle around and share the water

We shower together on the weekends because why not. Otherwise during the week I get up before him so I'm usually in and out while hes still sleeping.

Sometimes it's fun, but FH is a prima donna in the shower and I'm a 5-min kind of girl, so only if I'm in the mood to waste time lol

We usually laugh and act silly together in the shower. We enjoy it....It brings us closer especially when we have been nipping at each other.

We have never showered together. In fact, if one of us is in the bathroom, it's pretty much off limits to the other person. We just don't do it. Plus FH takes 20 minute showers and I'm 5 - 10 minutes in the shower.

Omg Erin b. I immediately laughed so incredibly hard when I read that, only because there was a time FH and I were showering and we go to switch spots for the water and he slipped and fell right onto the tub on his ass!! He was okay just had a big bruise on his tailbone but every time I think of it I cry laughing!!! He always just shakes his head at me!! He laughed too at the time but I can't get over how funny it was..

I don't think it's romantic. Maybe because our shower is tiny at the moment but I like to enjoy my bubble time alone.

We do usually on the weekends or when neither one of us has to work or go to school. This is because it takes twice as long showering together then separately.

We both enjoy it, the warmth and the intimacy. Sometimes it leads to sex or just foreplay since he loves to wash me.
