Shutterfly Guestbook?

Courtney, on September 30, 2019 at 9:35 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 12
Has anyone done one of these recently? I am trying to save money where I can and while there are some great options on Etsy, this seems to be a more affordable option. I thought of adding our engagement photos and letting guests sign.

Shutterfly has good quality products, let them know you are interested in wedding stuff and they will send you a bunch of coupons for free stuff and good discounts

That’s what I did! I found a free book code, then used their free unlimited pages. I upgraded to lay flat pages. It came to under $20 including shipping! I’m so happy with it. This was a year ago though, but I’m sure you’ll still be able to find some coupon codes/sales

I've never made one of these before. I was trying to do it on the app and it is only letting me do one picture on each page. It is also not letting me change the cover. It just shows one of the pictures on the cover. Do you have to customize it on a desktop computer?

I did this for our guest book as well and loved it!! I was so happy we choose to do our engagement pictures in a book to sign because it is something we will actually look back on. I've used Shutterfly quite a bit and have a few tips. If you have the app you can get a free photobook each month. You don't need the fanciest book for your guest book. It is much easier to design on a computer though. So if you can, use a desktop to design it and place the order on the app. That way you get the book for free. By the way, the quality was great and we were really happy with the finished product.

My SIL did this and it was awesome. Get an account now if you dont' already have one, they send out free photo book promos occasionally and will always have huge holiday (black friday, xmas, NY) sales.

You don't have to customize it on a desktop, but it's a ton easier. I always take advantage of the app only sales by designing on a desktop then saving the project and ordering through the app.

The app doesn't seem to be very user friendly. I created an account and played around with it on my desktop at work today, but I saw where the only "free book" is a 6x6 softcover book.

Sorry to hear that. I guess they must have changed the app. It used to be a larger hardcover book. I never use the app for anything except to order the free photo prints. They have sales constantly though, so you should be able to get a pretty good deal. Good luck!

I ended up throwing the wedding shower for one of my best friends for their wedding so I had email addresses for most of the people invited to the wedding. I sent an email out asking for people to send me pictures of themselves with the couple or one of the grooms. I got an overwhelming response of pictures and captions so I did a book on Shutterfly with all of the pictures for their guest book. I left plenty of space for those that didn't send pictures to sign also. People were able to sign near their pics and Shutterfly had fun other pages I was able to insert for people to fill out. I gave it to them at the rehearsal dinner with a pack of fun gel pens for people to use. It was fun! Instead of a guest book we are going to use the art our friend drew for us for our invitations and blow it up and have people sign around it, we will frame it and hang in our bedroom.

That is a great idea. I chose to go with a canvas with our wedding date for guests to sign
