Shutterfly Photo Book

I have seen this before and I loved the idea! They had the engagement photos in the book and people signed around it. Didn't think about the smudging though... I have bought pens at Asian Night Markets that don't smear so maybe something like that would work?

I got one when we first got engaged. Although our Photobooth comes with a guestbook so my MOH just used the free one at the shower! You can always get it and use it for something else if you change your mind.

Love the idea! We're doing a picture of us framed and the mat around it will be signed by our guests. We have a separate picture and mat for the kiddos to sign/ doodle on.

I'm pretty sure the Sharpie ultra fine permanent markers work well. I gave a Shutterfly photo book to a friend as a going away present and had people sign it for her and I think the consensus was that type of Sharpie was the best pen to use. I'd recommend doing your own research online to make sure you come up with the same pen recommendations as I did, but I am pretty certain that was the pen i used and I don't remember there being an issue.

Certain glossy finishes require an acid free pen...please verify this.

We had this for our wedding and we used the sharpie ultra fine marker. It worked fine on the pages. Though I did see a couple of smears.

We used Shutterfly for our photo guest book. We loved it! We did buy a specialty photo pen and there were no smudges.

Thanks for posting this. I did this for my guest book as well. I don't even know if I have the "glossy" pages but I didn't even think about what type of pen to use.
