Yes, we used our engagement pics, purchased a 20 page 10x10 book. I really love mine.

I also bought fine tip sharpies in black and silver.

Shutterfly is running a promotion right now for free wedding guest books that ends March 16th. You just have to like them on Facebook.

We used the 8x10 book and also used metallic sharpies for the signing. And yes I love ours!

I got mine for free. 8x10 and just paid for the shipping. I love mine, cant wait to have it on display at the wedding.

I got a 10x10. I also paid to upgrade my paper to the lay flat sheets instead of the normal one. It was COMPLETELY worth it. The pages are SO nice (I buy photo books from them all the time so I can tell you the paper is so much better)

I think I am just going to use a normal pen.

Do you think that the 8/10 is too small for the guest book?

I have the promo code for the free book. However I wonder if they will deduct the amount of the free book from the price if I update to the 10x10 book and get the lay flat book?

I don't think a 8x10 is too small. But it depends on how many guests you're having sign it. If you hve 100 guests there might not be room.

I bought a 12"x12" and I'm regretting that I didn't get a slightly smaller size. Oh well, it's still super cute and now there's lots of space for people to write messages

And I was told by Mixbook support to use an "acid free permanent fine-tip pen"

@Alison- how many guests are you having? I'm not sure what size to get :/ 8x11 sounds too small to me

You also have the option of adding more pages. I think they're only like $1 each or something.
