So we got our wedding album yesterday! We looked at a few different sites - Artifact Uprising, Snapfish, Shutterfly, another that I don't remember - and ultimately decided on Shutterfly. We liked their layouts and felt they were much more customizable than the others. The spendy side of me wanted to go all out so we did and I just love the way it came out.
We did the acrylic cover and lay flat pages. Seriously, pictures do not do it justice. It is stunning and the quality is top notch. We had a lot of extra pages because I like a blank intro page to each section - Getting Ready, The Ceremony, The Reception. I waited for a free extra pages sale with 40% off only to find out that the free pages offer does not apply to lay flat pages. But Shutterfly's customer service is pretty good and they made a one-time exception for us so we got our extra pages for free!
Then we got the album and I was so disappointed that the binding was black when we ordered blue to match our wedding colors. I say I because my husband didn't care either way lol. I contacted them and they offered to give us a credit to reorder it. We didn't know what we'd do with two albums so we asked for a discount instead and they gave us 25% off, so another $140 saved! (I did have to send them a picture to prove the binding was black.)
So... If you're wondering what site to use to put together your album, I highly recommend Shutterfly.
