Sick at the altar?!

Are any of you ladies worried about being so nervous that you get sick at the altar. I am bad about fainting when I get really nervous. I'm worried I may throw up or...idk. I just hope none of that happens!

I totally figure I will pass out before we even start the processional. I absolutely hate when people look at me for long periods of time. I keep having daydreams of getting too nervous and turning around once the doors open....

I was super nervous just before I walked down the aisle. Keep telling myself "Just breathe". But I just kept my eyes on DH as I walked down the aisle and held onto my dad. I was good. Cried a little during our vows, but was pretty good.

I'm not just nervous about the wedding. I get that way in any social setting. I have to know I have easy access to a one toilet restroom and that usually calms me down. Not having a private bathroom makes my nerves even worse. I know it's weird but I have had this problem for about 10 years now. I have self diagnosed myself with anxiety.

Elizabeth - I can't stand people just stairing at me! We will be on the beach, and I am worried i'll make it halfway down my aisle, then tell my dad we have to turn around! Maybe I should find an alternate "aisle" so I can make an easy entrance so I won't feel like all eyes are on me!

ApleScrufs - Maybe I should go ahead and convert now then! Save myself the embarrassment!

Tiffany - I hope I am even able to breathe!

Almost Mrs. P - I get pretty nervous when I'm around people I barely know or when it gets really hot out, and I know I have to go in somewhere, but I feel like I look gross from the heat, ugh! Makes me sick to my stomach, literally. It's almost like I give myself an excuse not to go!

I worry about my stomach hurting so much from being nervous about being the center of attention, not the getting married part. I am excited to get married, but just hoping I don't lock my knee and faint or not eat as much as I should and get sick.

I was certain i'd be a nervous wreck walking down the aisle, but then when i got there, i just wasn't. i felt awesome. then i saw my FH who looked like he was about to pass out haha.

all i can say is EAT. don't stuff yourself, but have breakfast. have lunch. don't drink too much getting ready. and remember all the people there watching are happy for you and love you.

I am, but that's mostly because I have health issues and fainting is a real concern for me.

I plan to have a few nice chairs at the alter in case I need to be sat down.

I'm considering going with a ceremony where the bride and groom sit for most of it, just because I think it may go much better in my situation.

I saw a episode of 'say yes to the dress' where a bride needed her dress changed because when she sat it showed too much of her leg. I'm going to look for that episode and maybe pull from her ceremony.
