Sick for wedding, help:(

Stefanie, on October 17, 2019 at 6:57 AM Posted in Fitness and Health 1 15
So this entire week I've been feeling a cold coming on. I overloaded on zinc, vitamin c, and echinacea. I thought I was in the clear but I woke up this morning with a stuffy nose and I want to cry Smiley sad I get married on 10/19 (in 2 days) Anyone have any miracles that have helped them??? I'm just really upset.

    Oh no, I’m so sorry!!
I swear by drinking like 2 containers of orange juice, gargling with warm salt water, and taking mucinex dm.
My mom does sinus rinses but I can just never bring myself to do them haha
Drink lots of fluids, get rest, and I hope you feel better!! Sending all the positive & healing vibes I can!! 💕

Something that always helps me is water! I drink lots of water and it cleans my system. I also do the emergency c blue packs (vitamin c) because it has immune system boost so that helps you fight it. Some ginger tea might help as well.

Congrats on your big day! For me, it's usually allergies masked as a cold so if I catch it early enough, I can take an allergy pill which usually clears it up!

Congratulations! Water, ginger ale, orange juice and, benadryl. I live it by it. Also, if you have aromatherapy or a diffuser, I'd look into peppermint and eucalyptus oils. I hope you feel better. Also... REST. Stress can prolong the healing period.

Aww poor thing! I hope all of the above comments help you find some relief. I’m just offering sympathy. I hope you can power through your special day and it is as amazing as you hoped it would be!! Smile, even if it hurts! It may be stress related. Maybe a good yoga session or massage would help. (& water)

Drink SO MUCH WATER and eat super healthy food. If it were me, I'd probably go to urgent care to see if I could get antibiotics/steroid shot/zpack but that depends on your insurance. If you can afford it, those IV spas can push vitamins into your bloodstream to help with sickness too.

Load up on more vitamins and water. Take a good hot shower. Sometimes saunas help.

Hot shower, peppermint oil to open your nose/sinus, tons of water, allergy pill in case it’s allergies not a cold. Tons of sleep. Day of do DayQuil two hours before, ice to shrink bags under your eyes, brightening and hydrating mask before makeup and then a Red Bull or energy drink to perk you up.

Avoid dairy and wheat. Drink apple cider vinegar diluted in warm water with lemon and honey. Good luck. Water.

I’m so sorry Smiley sad I’m just getting over a cold now, and have pretty much been able to kick it in under 3 days doing the following:
    -vitamin C powder
    -zinc
    -ginger tea
    -chicken soup
    -sleeping like 12 hours (lol)
-Ningxia red (not sure if you can get your hands on this so last minute, I generally order it!)
    -elderberry syrup

Good luck, take it easy, feel better!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions I'm gonna try like every one of them. I got a steroid shot from my dr and he gave me a zpack just in case its bacterial. I'm going to load up on water and any other cold remedy supplements and hope for the best. So far not much progress but I'm staying hopeful. Thank you all again💜
