I think it’s really person preference, all three hairstyles are beautiful.


Things I’ve been thinking about when deciding how to do my hair are how hot I’ll get with my hair down on my neck; the fact that our wedding is pretty informal, outdoors, in the mountains, at sunrise when it could be anywhere from 30-60 degrees; and the kind of hair accessories I gravitate towards.
No matter what you decide, I’m sure you’ll look beautiful.

We are getting married in early October in Pennsylvania, so the weather could vary. I’ll have a comb and hair pins to choose from so I could see any of these styles working. I don’t want to cover the front or back of the dress entirely, which is why I could see either updo or sideswept working.

Pics one and three I think are lovely and for either style a lovely hair piece will add some pop.

It's definitely up to your personal preference! I love the side-swept hairstyles, but updos really can't be beat in terms of longevity on your wedding day!

My hair doesn't hold a curl well and I tend to dance (and sweat 🤫) a lot at weddings so my mind always goes straight to asking "would my hair wilt?"

You could always start with the sideswept style and depending on the weather it could easily get pinned underneath to a modified updo for the reception if you find you are too warm with it down.

That dress is stunning!!! I vote updo. That way your hair won't take anything away from your dress. All styles are very nice though. I also like updos because they stay put all day.
