Signs & Decor

Hello ladies! We are starting to work on signs and decorations for our food table. We are wanting to spend less than $100-$200 on signage, and are fine doing some DIY. Our theme is rustic country, and our meal is pizza. We are wanting a “I love you with every pizza my heart” sign, one for iced tea, lemonade, and water. In addition, we would like something on the gift table and with the guest book. Can I see what you ladies have done or at least some ideas? Thanks in advance!

These were our signs, plus a welcome sign. We attempted DIY painting on wood and it did not go well lol. This was easy and cheap!

I bought the chalkboards from Hobby Lobby & then a friend of mine did the wording. I also have 3x larger chalkboards (2x easels & 1x flat) that I worked with a woman from Etsy to design certain decals. My favorite decal is attached (although the decal will be white on the black background) & then I’m getting free napkins (came from using the vender who did my invitation design - as our venue is a preferred location of hers) & the napkins in the outside bar will match that logo.

Zazzle makes beautiful signs and they are completely customizable and not expensive.

The signs I used were actually from old fence posts DH had from a couple years ago! I had him cut them and then I sanded and stained them myself! So ask around and see if anyone you know might have wood laying around! I did some of them free hand and others not. If you find what you want online you can blow it up, trace it onto paper, and then lay it over the wood and retrace it with enough pressure to leave behind marks. That’s the method I used for the “please sign our guestbook” one.

I got the chalkboard for half off at Hobby Lobby and our card box was $12 at Cracker Barrell of all places! You never know where you could find cute stuff, and on sale too!

I drink wine on the regular, so I kept all the dark green bottles to use for our centerpieces. I cut the bottoms off and we stuck candles in that and it was a super nice effect! I unfortunately don’t have photos of these. It was a good way for me to able to reuse and not waste something I spend money on anyways. So look for ways you can do the same! Get creative with it!

First off I just want to say that the pizza thing is just adorable!!! And second, all I did was find a cute template online and print it out and put it on a desktop easel. Similar to framing it

Aside from the welcome sign ands seating chart- this is all we have. We shopped Etsy for templates and Dollar Tree for frames.

I saw a really cute idea online for a diy sign; i'll include a link below!
I taught myself hand lettering / modern calligraphy and am so excited to DIY a sign for the wedding. You only need a piece of plexi-glass and a chalk marker. I plan on making a "Welcome to our wedding" sign and possibly the seating chart. Check out the link!

Thank you. Smiley laugh We're trying to follow winter themes and not "Christmas-y" ones.

I love these Dollar Tree frames! What size are the ones in your photo if you don't mind me asking?
