Silicone rings

Raven, on March 19, 2018 at 11:07 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 20
Hey yall!!

So I work in sports and FH and I are fairly active and love the outdoors. I realized the other day that I'm constantly taking off my ring at games to apply sunblock and that sunblock and sweat and dirt are definitely going to end up all over my ring. So it's high time I get a silicone ring. If you have one, where did you get it and does it stand up to some strain? Also looking to get one for FH for our honeymoon. I'd much rather replace a silicone band than a diamond or his wedding band.

Amazon! We have Enso and Qalo rings and we love them! I also bought a bulk no-name silicone band from Amazon (like 8 rings for $10) and they fell apart in 2 weeks.

I love silicone rings and Qalo and Enso have great designs. Enso runs true to size but be sure to go one size up for Qalo!

We have Qalo ones, we picked that brand because they had designs that were really close to our actual bands. H wears his to work and it's held up really well. I wear mine for hiking and swimming.

They have branded ones but they are literally the exact same thing as the ones you get from Walmart.

I have Enso and I plan to purchase my FH one as a wedding gift. He works in the OR, I’m sure it’ll be usefully for his field of work.

I have a handful of different Qalo rings, and I love them! They have a ton of different styles and colors. I am a very outdoorsy person, and feel weird wearing my ring when we go kayaking, hiking, or to the gym. I agree to order slightly larger with Qalo.

I'm a LEO and exchange my ering for a silicone ring every night for work. I ordered mine from SafeRingz and love them. The shipping was fast and they came in a cute tin.

For $40, I got one in black, one in gunmetal gray and one in rose gold.

My FH is in the Navy so we got him a Qalo ring. It seems sturdy and comfortable.

I have a ring from Qalo and I love it! I work as a nurse, so I needed something that would hold up to all of the hand washing, chemicals, and daily wear and tear. I've had my ring since December and haven't had any problems with it. They were extremely slow with shipping (I'm in Alaska), but other than that it was an easy process too.

Honestly I think you can get away with wearing your actual ring - I'm a chemist and work with a lot of harsh chemicals, and never take my jewelry off. Gold and platinum are pretty durable, and diamonds and other hard stones aren't easily broken. Totally personal preference, but you're ring will survive the wear and tear.

I have a few Qalo rings and i wear them 75% of the time. I’m a nurse- the anti-bacterial foam takes paint off the walls and the finish off our rings.. and dirties the stone- and a weight lifter- barbells and chalk don’t mix well with rings.

I bought a few of the stackable ones from Enso. They were on sale so I got a few to try out. I like them! We are going to be getting matching ones from Enso (the ones that look metallic) closer to the wedding for our honeymoon, and any other "active" things we do afterwards.

I got mine off of Amazon. It's not the Enso or Qualo brand, but it's held up for over a year no problem. I'm the type to fiddle with it, too. I stretch, pull, snap, twist, and roll it all the time. I bought a 4 pack and I love it!

I got ours from Etsy from AeraRings. No weird symbols on it and they fit great. Love them!

Getting one for the honeymoon is such a great idea. I still haven’t been to the beach since I’ve had my ring but I’d so scared to go with it.

I got mine on Amazon as well. I bartend so I'm constantly in chemicals and mine has held up great! Plus no stress over a $6 ring!

My ex-husband is a truck driver. I got his silicone band from Saferingz. Their platinum band looks like white gold from a distance.

I got my FH's engagement band from ThunderFit. He's a mechanic and has been wearing it since the end of November and loves it. I like how the black band has gotten a bit of a sheen on it from being worn.

It cost less than $20 from both places.

My FH and I love to do stuff outdoors - especially with the weather getting warmer. I just bought a braided Qualo on Amazon for $11.95 this morning. They have great reviews and are said to be super durable for people who are a little more rough with their hands!
