Simple wedding?

Girl amen!!! People are so extra with these over the top weddings, it’s too much! Like just keep it simple and socially distanced 💞

I was laughing because I was one of the first few to reply to this yet our plans changed again since January.


Now I'm trying to talk my fh into a smaller ceremony ( like an hour tie the knot ceremony at a local barn) and then doing an all inclusive reception months later.

Reply... the wedding that I detailed here was derailed by Covid. Now we are a 5-person mini-wedding with our sons only. We were able to find a lovely venue and hope that my Elvin chapel will be an option for next June. We have a June date set, but I still wonder about Covid in the Spring. Meanwhile, I am changing my dress too (I'm leaning toward a halter style) because for 5 people it is over the top - and I can't get it altered (thanks to the Covid 15 pounds my body found). My elaborate dress can be taken in, but not let out. So, plans are changing everywhere - all over again.

We can get married in either of these locations. They are all on the same property. We also picked 5:30pm on a Monday. September 28th will be our date.
