Size 12 brides?

I'm usually street size 12 sometimes bigger, sometimes smaller. Designers need to get this sizing business together. I was mostly concerned about back fat. My shoulders are super broad and it doesn't matter what I size I wear, I worry about looking like I'm spilling over the top.

Drop waist with a sweetheart neckline worked best on me. Just go with an open mind and know that there are dresses that will hug and compliment your lumps and bumps beautifully.

I'm a street 10. Here's mine (with silicone inserts in the dress to give the girls a little lift):

At barely five feet I was a size twelve bride. By the time they tied that corset to within an inch of my life I had a waistline like Scarlett O'Hara and cleavage that didn't stop!

Size 14 bridal. I personally love fitted gowns since it makes me look smaller.

This is off the website but i am a size 12/14 and i was struggling when i picked out a dress. Until about a year ago i was a size 10 and a little less.."curvy" so when i put on the weight and attempted to try dresses that i dreamed i wanted i was bummed out at how they just didn't fit my body, but once i put this dress on all of those feelings went away. I had strangers coming up to me in the bridal shop telling me how perfect it looked, i even had a lady in another group crying at how great it looked. You will find your perfect fit! Just try on any and every style of dress until you feel like a princess.

Go try them all in. You will be surprised at what is most flattering (probably not an A-line honestly) I'm anywhere from an 6-12 depending on the clothes and what the most fitted point is. Think this dress is a 10. It barely fits my ass but swimming in my chest.

@AG13 I love it in white on you! I almost missed it. I just so happened to spot the dress at the end of my appointment when I spotted it in the front window and I almost didn't have it pulled. Thank god my consultant insisted on me trying it on. Best part was I new it was the one before she even had it zipped up.

This is me in my dress, dress and street size are 16. This is pre-alterations. If I had ordered the size for my boobs (biggest measurement), I would have had to order a 22. :/

I go back for my second fitting in March!! I can't wait to see it all fixed! They're putting in a corset back, hemming, and taking in the bust so the top lays correctly/reshaping the arm holes.

Size 10/12 and my dress here is a 12.

I'm an 8/10 street size, bridal 14. It's not the dress I chose, but it was certainly a top contender. I loved the way I looked in it! All you ladies look beautiful in your dresses.

Street size 12, dress was ordered in an 18 (yay hips?) and altered significantly. Dress shopping was also tough for me, and having to pay extra for a "plus-size" gown wasn't fun. Everyone looks stunning!

Street size 18. Dress was supposed to be ordered in an 18 (the picture is a size 18). They ordered a 16 but I had lost some weight so it actually fit.
