Skincare Routine & Facials

I'm about 2 months out from my wedding, so I'm planning out my beauty routine for the next few weeks to get ready. I bought a really good moisturizer and organic shampoo and conditioner. I stopped wearing foundation every day and am using face masks once or twice a week ( I got a TON for Christmas - yay!)

I'm contemplating getting a facial but I'm lost. Can anyone give me some advice? Are they worth the money? When should I go in relation to my wedding, and will just one be enough?

I think a facial is a great idea 💡 I’d check Groupon for good deals. I’m getting microdermabrasion done starting next month.

Hi Maggie! Facials are absolutely worth it! I recommend getting one about 1 month before your wedding to see how your skin reacts to the facial! If you like the results, then you should get a 2nd facial one week before your wedding. The facial will help cleanse and purify your skin, and help remove any imperfections like acne or blackheads! This will make the skin appear smooth and add a nice glow!
As for your hair, be sure that your organic shampoo and conditioner don't change the texture of your hair, as these can sometimes be very drying. And for your skin care regiment, I highly reccomend looking into cleansers and exfoliants to use before you moisturize! This will help prep the skin for absorptions!

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it! I will definitely look into booking a facial now and some additional skin care products. I'm planning on using the shampoo now to make sure it doesn't do anything crazy to my hair but I've used the brand before so I'm pretty confident.

Groupon is great for deals! FH bought me 3 laser facials for Christmas last year and they we're great. It's recommended to go about 1 a month but 3 weeks is fine too so a 3 pack would be perfect with your timeline.
I did have some moments with the first session where it was uncomfortable. The laser cinges the baby hairs so it got hot around my forehead and upper lip. Not painful just uncomfortable
