I've been wanting to change up my skincare routine so I figured getting started a few months before the wedding would be best. I have eczema and cystic acne. My doctor put me on birth control which has helped tremendously with the breakouts. I usually don't have a problem with breaking out but my skin is still sensitive and will break out easily if I use a product with too many chemicals in it. I drink 80-90oz of water a day and I currently use Cetaphil face wash, Bio-oil for my acne scars, Mary Kay moisturizer, and Neutrogena sunscreen. It was working for me but it seems not to have much of an effect for me lately. Anyone have any must have beauty products? I could also use a recommendation for a good peel or scrub. This cold weather has been rough on my skin and I have dry patches everywhere.

I just wanted to add that I have dry, acne prone skin was some scarring on my cheeks. I started using the Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing kit and have noticed a huge difference in my skin's brightness and lightening of my acne scars. If you order from the website, get the 15% off coupon and you can get a month supply for $32 with free shipping. All natural, made with citrus, and is working great for me.

Sounds basic, but coconut oil! I put it on after my nightly skin care routine. I wouldn't recommend during the day. It's greasy on the skin. When i wake up my skin is glowing! It also has mild antibacterial properties that help with acne/break outs as well. Smiley smile

I have eczema as well and this winter has been especially rough. I use CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser and their lotion for my face. I use the CeraVe cream for my body and it works pretty good. I also recommend using a humidifier to get the room around 40-50% humidity.

My boss gave me a gift box of REN bath products and I am a convert! The dry oil for body has been a game changer.

The best thing I ever did was start washing my face with baby shampoo. Yes, baby shampoo. I have dry, flaky skin and it was really bad on my eyebrows. My dermatologist recommended baby shampoo and it has completely solved the problem.

Origins has his really great pink clay exfoliating mask that gently exfoliates and really brightens up the appearance of your skin. Add something like that in 1-2x week plus a great moisturizer may do the trick! (Holy grail of moisturizer? Let you know when I find it 😉)

I started using Juice Beauty 2 days ago. This morning, after using the face wash twice, FH woke up and said my skin is already clearing up. It does not dry out my skin. (i have combo skin) I also use their cleansing milk to remove my make up. So far, i really like this brand and ill probably purchase a night lotion and eye cream/serum soon.

Don't forget to put this on your neck and chest. It really does add a beautiful touch to skin. Coconut oil is amazing!

I have a hormonal imbalance which causes cystic acne, and extreme dry skin. I use all clinical recommended products. One of my favorites is Mario Badescu rose water spray. I put it on before moisturizer, before I apply makeup, and when I take it off.

I think the main thing is understanding everyone's skin is different. What could be holy grail for me, could be detrimental to your skin. I remember asking Facebook for dry skin product recommendations, and someone recommended an all natural rose oil moisturizer that ended up chemically burning my skin.

    I'd talk to a professional!
