Hey everyone!
Are any of you skipping the flower girl role or having an adult throw the flowers?

We really wanted to have a high energy, party vibe for our wedding, so there will be no guests under the age of 21. So of course we did not want a flower girl or ringbearer. But I never contemplated having adults fill that role! That could be really cute.

Same! There won’t be any other kids so I’m thinking she will probably be bored out of her mind.
In place of that I thought of having my auntie that’s in a wheelchair do it but idk. Just playing around with ideas

We're not having one since there are no kids in our immediate family. But I've seen videos of adults doing it and I love those ideas.

I'm going to be asking my cousins to do it! They're about 6 and 8. I already found something super cute on Etsy to ask them too!

My sister in law (28) is carrying my niece (1) down the aisle and throwing flowers. I thought it was a cute way to include both of them since 1 year old can't walk by herself yet (:

We don’t have any kids in family/friends circles the appropriate ages. While I’ve loved the videos of the grandmas tossing flowers, we don’t have any adults that would go for that either so we’re skipping it entirely.

We were planning on having our two grandmothers be flower girls. Unfortunately my fiancé’s passed before we could ask her. But we’re still having my grandma be our flower girl. She’s so excited. Already picked out her outfit.

We're having a flower child... it'll be his 12 year old daughter. I'm getting her a flower crown and I'll bring her dress shopping. We're still on the fence about having 1 matron of honor and a best man, but for sure our kids will be involved.

We had a kid free wedding…no flower girl or ring bearer. Didn’t think about replacing the role with someone else; sweet idea.

We're not having any, even though he has 6 nieces. But we're not having most traditions other than a cake, handfasting ceremony, and I'll be wearing a garter (without it being tossed or seen publicly).

We're only having a MOH and Bestman. No flower girls, ring bearer, bridesmaids, groomsmen, speeches, etc. Our wedding is about our close friends and family coming to celebrate us and our marriage, to eat, drink, amd be merry! It's also saving us a ton of money since we don't have to worry about all the gifts you're obligated to get everyone in a wedding party, and there's no stress of "who do I pick for my bridesmaids?!". Everyone's wedding vision is different. We just wanted it to be fun and as stress-free as possible! Smiley smile

We're skipping both the flower girl and ring bearer. We have too many small children on both sides, and if we picked them all we'd end up having 4 of each lol...which is a little excessive. We never understood the need for them, so we decided to skip altogether instead of picking and possibly hurting feelings.

I've toyed around with the idea of a flower dude and having one of FH's close friends do a funny walk down with a fanny pack of petals, but he feels like that's not necessary either, so we're skipping it all!

Having a flower girl isn't necessary at all.

We didn't have one because we had an adults only wedding and I there aren't any kids who are close to us who are that age anyway.

Also our venue required us to clean up any petals, etc thrown so that would have just been another thing we had to do. Wasn't worth it to us!
