slideshow for father daughter dance

How about a PowerPoint directed into a white wall? Or even a TV in a place where it can be seen. I was thinking of doing something like this for our wedding too. Have you check to see if it is possible to rent the projector? If u can't maybe a friend or even work can lease it to you.

If you have a mac you can make the slideshow in imovie. It super easy, mostly drag and click and you can add music and transitions. I made mini movies to ask my bridesmaids using imovie and plan to make a movie for our rehearsal dinner.

Whether you use PowerPoint, iMovie or whatever else... you should keep in mind that the projector and screen will be "unsightly" and will detract attention from what's really going on. My recommendation is to get a rear-projection screen, so the projector doesn't clutter the dance floor and leave unsightly cables in the middle of the dance floor (which is also a safety concern). If you're going to go through this level, you might as well do the same for your first dance and your mother/son dance.
