Small 20 guest wedding

Anyone else having a small wedding? We are planning 20-25 people tops. We’re booking rentals for our backyard (tent, tables, chairs, and possibly lighting) my fiancé gets pallets for free so we’re gonna DIY the dance floor and our friend is helping us DIY a pallet bar (she’s also our wedding coordinator so that’s a bonus!) We’re doing a simple buffet catering and just planning on having a short ceremony with cocktails and dinner afterward. We’re SO excited to be planning for our special day and it’s so fun to be able to splurge in other areas since we have a small guest count. Anyone else doing this? What are your ideas/plans?

    We are having a max of 30 people (only our closest friends). FH hates standing in front of a lot of people, and I love the idea of a small, intimate event. Plus, we are having a destination wedding, so we didn’t want the responsibility of coordinating and entertaining too many people.

    We had only 40 guests and we didn't really accelerate. We found a good place with a small rent per evening, ordered live music with our favorite songs and put together a cool menu of drinks and food. In fact, there was a lot of alcohol and food left after, but it even made me happy, because no one went home hungry)
