Small backyard wedding tips!

My sister-in-law had a backyard wedding with about fifty people. She also lives by a lake with neighbors close by. Not sure if she did, but I would talk to your neighbors about your plans. Parking and noise could be an issue that you'd want to see how they would feel about it. I know people had to park all over the street and took up pretty much all parking for residents. I also know she made the comment that a backyard wedding wasn't really any cheaper than having it at a venue. She had to pay for tents which aren't cheap, tables & chairs, linens, place settings, etc. that a lot of venues provide. She also didn't have an inside option and it poured.
