Small bridal shower??

Natalie, on April 8, 2018 at 4:00 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 10
Hey everyone, so we’re having a small wedding and not inviting much of my extended family. I have only a MOH and not too many girlfriends, she’s offering to throw me a shower and I would love one but I only have two close friends, and only few family members going, should we still have one?

Yes! Sometimes smaller parties can be even more fun because you get to spend the whole time with everyone rather than making rounds trying to say hi to everyone. There are plenty of bridal shower games that are good for small groups

You should still have one even if it’s only a couple of people. They are there for you to make your day special!

Yes, it'll make it more intimate with a few close people there.

Yes I think you should. We also had a small wedding with only 40 wedding guests. We decided to do a couples shower to open it up to more people which actually ended up being a lot of fun having the guys there. But I think it's fine to just have the ladies and still keep it small.

Same here. Mine will be very small but it meant a lot for my mom to throw me one. And why not ? You will only be married once so don’t skip any opportunities to celebrate !!

Make it a couples party, assuming she can afford to open it up a bit. Start at 4pm and have lite bites and booze!

For your couples shower, did you have games for entertainment? or what things did you guys do to entertain everyone, and get everyone involved?

We did have games and the guys were good sports about it and had a lot of fun. We began with an ice-breaker game where each guest had the name of a famous person taped to their back. They had to go around asking "yes" or "no" questions to figure out who they were. This allowed people to mingle. We also played the toilet paper dress game and it was hilarious to see the guys get into this game. There were some great designs! One of my bridesmaids created a wedding jeopardy game which included a category for guys. This was a team game and had great participation. The last game was a wedding word scramble which was a solo game.
