Small bridal shower?

So, I live in Memphis and our friends are throwing me and FH a "couple's shower" instead of doing a bridal shower, which I am super excited for! However, I am from Atlanta (moved here two years ago to be with FH) and my aunt really wants to throw me a small bridal shower back home. I think it is super sweet of her, especially since I haven't seen her in years (her and my mom had a falling out, but they are on good terms again now). My worry is that I don't really have girl friends back home anymore except two of my best friends from school who I still see and talk to. So, the guest list would be super small. Like, my aunt and her daughter, my mom and 2 sisters (7 and 16), my two girl friends, and me and my soon to be step daughters (both 13). Would this be weird? Does anyone have any ideas to make it not feel so small?
