Okay, so I'm writing out step-by-step set up instructions for the wedding. I just realized that the 200-count cupcake tower and cake stand for our small cutting cake probably won't fit very nicely together on the 4-foot round cake table.
I'm thinking instead of having just the cupcake tower on the cake table, since the tower itself is 3 feet wide and about 3 feet tall. Then, I'll put the small cutting cake (8-inch tier and 6-inch tier) on our sweetheart table, kind of as decor. The cake table was going to be essentially off in a corner anyway, and this way when we do cake cutting, it'll be front and center.
Would that be weird to have the cake on the sweetheart table? It should be really similar to the one below.
