Small wedding Chicago

Miss Riley, on March 8, 2017 at 3:08 PM Posted in Illinois Planning 0 26

Live in Chicago but moving to the south suburb & need a small space for my wedding party of about 30-40. Would love a place or ideas where I can have the ceremony/reception. Not oppose to being outside. Would prefer it. Looking for ideas from people who can help. I've searched high & low & contacted MANY places. And yes Google as given me ideas but I still ended up here. Please & thank u.

How do you feel about beaches? Illinois Beach Resort is really nice, and they have tons of packages you can adjust to suit any budget. They do fun add-ons like beach bonfires with smores too!

South suburbs of Chicago is a broad area. Can you narrow it down a little? I grew up in Chicago and lived in 2 of the south suburbs.

I know DiNolfo's redid their Mokena location (now called Tuscany Falls) and it's absolutely gorgeous. There's also the usual Chateau Busche in Alsip that is pretty common, too.

Delfina that's where we're getting married Smiley smile ! It's a beautiful and great venue, I highly suggest it. Kim has been wonderful to work with as a coordinator so far. I have also heard great things about Cafe Brauer right near Lincoln Park Zoo.

See if there's a Pinstripes down that way, went to a wedding at the one in Northbrook and had a blast. They even had lanes and bocce booked for people to play.

Pinstripes is so fun! I've been to the one in Oak Brook before. That would be an awesome venue.

Unfortunately, with such a small guest count, your going to have a little bit of a struggle finding a venue that doesn't have a person or price minimum, especially if you plan to get married during peak season. I live in the south suburbs and had a hard time finding a venue that would allow a guest list of only 80. We had to choose a non peak season date and practically beg places to lower there minimum.

Check out Orland Chateau. You don't need an appointment and they are open everyday. They may be able to accommodate a smaller wedding party. They have a outside patio, cake included in price, open bar and bridal rooms. I know for a Sunday it's under $60 pp for family style.
