Small Wedding & Programs

jlu, on August 22, 2012 at 10:41 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 5

Need help filling up a wedding program with stuff! We're having a small wedding (1 MOH, 1 GM) and the ceremony is going to last 5-10 minutes. We're not writing our own vows, it's very simple.

I'm planning on using Vistaprint's free rack cards to match my iSpy cards I made. What type of things could i Put on my program to fill it up, so it doesn't look so blank? Maybe song selections (music-themed wedding adn we're getting a harp to play rock n' roll songs)?

obviously, MOH and GM's names. maybe a thank you to our parents and friends? photos?

ON the back I will probably just put our "logo" so they match the rack cards i made for teh iSpy cards.

I made a book program, maybe you can use something to fill in the space:

page 1 - letter from my mom reflecting on the wedding & thanking the guests for coming

page 2 - list of bridal party & parents

page 3 - explained the Wine Box Ceremony & a personal story about us

page 4 - Fill in the blank Trivia Game

page 5 - wedding mad libs

page 6 - wedding word search

Are you mentioning your parents/grandparents? You could add them, as well. And a thank you to them would help take up space. You can also add an "In Memory" paragraph on there, if you'd like or have anyone you'd like to mention.

    Thank the guests for coming.

If it's an "unplugged" wedding, let them know.

Since you have only 2 attendants, maybe explain why they were chosen (introduced the two of you, BFF since kindergarten, etc.).

I also had a small wedding. for this reason, I didnt do folding programs. They were narrow, something like a bookmark. I put the the usual, time, place, our names, bp and officient name. Then I added a short paragraph written by me added in loving memory of my little brother and added a picture of a butterfly because it matched our theme plus it took up space. I also put special thanks.
