Small wedding timeline

Angela, on April 20, 2021 at 2:02 AM Posted in Planning 1 1
Hello! We are having a destination wedding with 25 total guests at the end of the month. Would any of you be willing to share your day-of timelines? Mostly trying to figure out timing of everything before the ceremony.

We are getting ready at a rental house then our short ceremony is at 5:30 about a half hour away. The reception is on the same property and goes until 10:30. We aren’t doing a first look, bouquet toss or garter toss but mostly everything else will follow the traditional reception outline.
I know I’m going to forget something like getting the boutonnières to the guys or some other detail that day. Thanks for any help!

Hi Angela! You'll want to work with your photographer and hair & makeup artist on a pre-ceremony wedding timeline!! Are you taking any pictures before the ceremony?

You should probably aim to be at the ceremony venue by 5pm at the latest, so to build your timeline you can work backwards from there! (So you'll need to leave your rental house by 4:30pm at the latest...)
