Smart Save - DIY Wedding Favors

We’re painting traveling rocks in different designs and attaching to the back when found to post a picture to a Facebook group we create with our last name. Then it says Keep or Hide you decide. This way people can leave them along the way and hopefully as their shared out we’ll continue to get photos of them in different locations found. It will help us to keep our wedding day energy alive- and SUPER cheap to do. The time painting them is the tedious part but we’re both artistic and only having to paint 55 of them.

My wedding is in September and I’m having a garden of hot peppers. I’m making a couple large batches of hot sauce and putting them in little bottles. We are also big dog ppl and we are doing mini baggies of heart shaped dog treats for guests to take to their dogs. We are putting pictures of our dogs around this area. Just one of the little ways we are tying our dogs into the wedding and also bringing in one of our hobbies which is gardening

I’ve thrown away every favor I’ve ever received or threw it in a drawer. I appreciate food favors most. That’s why we are doing a dessert bar that is acting as our favors. But also, my friend group is 35-45 or older so we’ve all be there, done that with the unnecessary wedding favors. That said, I’ve always appreciated the gesture and if it’s within the budget, go for it!!! ❤️

We're giving out mini succulents! I got them at a good deal and they'll double as escort cards. The "plant tag" will have the guests' names and table numbers! Kind of like this:
