Smile direct club

I am currently about halfway through my treatment with Smile Direct Club. It's working well for me so far - I definitely see a difference. They also throw in a whitening kit that will come in handy before the wedding.

I would recommend it, but only if you're okay with not checking in with an orthodontist regularly. They send you the whole set of aligners and mostly leave you on your own to follow the rules and stay on schedule. I think at some point I will have to take pictures of my teeth so they can review and see if I need a refinement. But I'm 3 months in and they haven't asked yet.

I will also say that the first set of aligners HURTS. I put them in my mouth and thought I had made a terrible mistake. It definitely gets better though. Just takes a few days to adjust.

I have about 6 weeks left of my 8 month treatment and I love my results. Like PP said it is up to you to stay on track as they send you everything at once (they send reminders when it’s time to change to the next tray) and yes they do ask for pictures halfway through the treatment.

My experience is that I think I sound funny, but no one else really notices. I ask my fiance all the time and he really doesn't hear a difference. I would recommend that you change your aligners on Friday nights so that you have the weekend to adjust and hopefully you're good to go by Monday.
