If you want to quit smoking or just want some inspiration to quit (I say that because although I wasn't ready, it always made me feel better to know when someone else had done it and survived lol), let me know! I'd love to form a kind of support group. Whether you're quitting to save money for your wedding or just because it's the right time, whatever the reason!

I am 3 days without smoking today and trust me, I feel like running around a screaming!!!! Anyone else been here before? This will be my second time (and hopefully last) quitting! I'm only scared of getting super fat now because I find myself wanting to munch on things more frequently lol...

Anyone else?

Ha! @nicole that is why I want to quit now!! So i don't spend my wedding day craving a smoke when I can't sneak away and get one!! I want to enjoy the day, not spend it being cranky and irritable!

Fortunately for me...my whole family knows that we are both smokers. Heck, after a nice dinner out with the FIL's i'll smoke a cigarette in the parking lot on the way to their car.

It's just the image of a drunk bride with a cigarette in her hand that gets me thinking. I'll just have to ask the photographer to skip on those priceless photos Smiley smile

Don't forget the chance that the cherry will pop out when you flick it and possibly put a hole in your dress!!

My cousin smoked until after her wedding. On her wedding day we were out in the parking lot. It was about 90 degrees and she was really warm and smoking a cigarette. So I said, Hey Kelly! Now you really are a smoking, hot bride!

I got through my wedding day with out smoking, until we were all done, then I had one, outside of our hotel, we ran into some of our friends out there smoking.

It wasn't even a challenge. We were so busy all day, I didn't even have time for one.

I have a picture at home of my sister on her wedding day. Pregnant in a wedding dress and smoking a cigarette. Classy.

I didn't smoke at all on my wedding day until my parents pulled away. Then I stepped out back behind a trash can IN MY WEDDING DRESS to steal a few drags from my MOH. I was DYING.

I so wish I could. Honestly, I am such a b..tch that my non-smoking FH would light one up for me if I am without.

Actually, I Just spent three nights in the hospital having my gallbladder(sp?) removed. I went in via the ER, but I knew I was going to be admitted, so I packed a few packs and my can of OUST. Yes, with a private room, I would smoke in the bathroom. Anywhoo,I was really sick and did not smoke the entire time. I have been in the hospital before and have taken the IV pole with me outside to catch one. Talk about white trash!

When I got out, I looked at the pack and thought of how much fatter I would get, and I fired up. : (

I wish you ladies good luck. Those who have battled the demon, I congratulate you.

Nicole...LMAO...I will def be doing two things after I say, "I do!" Chugging a Coors Light, probably burping really loud and smoking a cig. Yes, I will be a classy bride!

I quit last September. I am 40, been smoking since I was 15. Have tried to quit a couple of times and the older I got, the less it kept my weight off. I used to wish that I could just take a bunch of narcotics and sleep for a week to get past the cravings. Well, be careful what you wish for. Last September, I had a brain aneurysm and was in the ICU for 15 days. I miss smoking every single day. I have gained weight but that's because I was told to do nothing for 3 months and I am still struggling with energy levels. I do not look how I envisioned I would look on my wedding day (which is coming up). Here are the positives though. I have a sh*t ton more money. I don't wake up choking and coughing. I'm not constantly clearing my throat. I am not constantly spraying myself with body spray/perfume to cover up the funky smell. If you think you can sneak a smoke and nobody notices; you're fooling yourself. I have discovered I now have Spidey senses. I can smell it a mile away->

If you need support though, feel free to count me in. My FH is still smoking but he quit drinking. I get to drink, he gets to smoke. However, if somebody needs me to talk them off of the ledge, so to speak, let me know. I'm happy to help!
