FH and I got a Magic Bullet at our shower...and he's dying to use it and wants smoothies....so I'm looking for new flavors and I'm kinda bored with the ones we've been using....any suggestions?

This is my go-to site for recipes (but I'm also following this thread to get some different ideas).

I don't have specific recipes since DH makes my smoothies for me, but I second almond milk, especially vanilla flavored. It makes such a huge difference

Raspberries, Mango, Coconut water, and pineapple juice. Sometimes I add a scoop of vanilla protein powder. It's so refreshing!

I don't know if it makes a difference in texture with a bullet compared to a blender, but I have a blender and love this strawberry banana smoothie.

    1 cup OJ

    1 cup frozen strawberries

    1/2 a frozen banana

    and 1 cup strawberry yogurt.

Frozen fruit (any kind you want.. berries, banana, mango), ice, almond milk, spinach or kale. Adding spinach may sound weird, but the other flavours disguise it.

1 frozen banana, 1/4 cup milk of your choice, 1/4 cup coffee, 1 tbsp peanutbutter. Makes a mocha smoothie that is super yummy.

My fav- vanilla almond milk, frozen strawberries & mango, ground flax seed, a fresh banana. If I didn't eat a salad with spinach for lunch, I will throw spinach in a smoothie- to get more veggies in.

I like this peanut butter idea! You can also add matcha (green tea powder) for extra anti-oxidants and caffeine.

I have a cows milk intolerance, so I put almond milk and sheep yogurt in my smoothies with what ever fruits I'm feeling that day. I normally throw an avocado or spinach in with it too!

Spinach, strawberry, banana, and an aloe vera juice blend I found at whole foods is one I've been having lately. I love spinach in smoothies!

I worked at Jamba Juice for a few summers, so making protein shakes post-workout is my job Smiley smile Here are a couple go-tos in our house. Amounts are for a 16 oz smoothie, and we add vanilla protein powder. For the yogurt, we freeze nonfat yogurt in ice cube trays. All fruit is frozen except the bananas.

8 oz apple juice, 2/3 cup strawberries, 1/3 cup banana or peaches, 2 cubes vanilla yogurt

8 oz orange juice 2/3 cup strawberries, 1/3 cup raspberries, 2 cubes berry yogurt
