Snapchat and instagram?

The Snapchat filters I saw are called Geofilters, but they cost money. And they can be kinda pricey, depending on what you want.

As for hashtags for instagram, you just create your own hashtag (try the hashtag generator) and when someone posts a picture with your hashtag or searches for your hashtag, all the photos with it will appear.

There are some templates already on the Snapchat website for weddings and other events. You could also make your own-- there are plenty of YouTube videos on how to do that.

As for hashtags, you just make up a unique hashtag and ask your guests to tag their photos using your hashtag. You can also use wed pics or other event photo sharing apps/websites where guests can drop their photos in.

I used the site @milinovember mentioned for my Snapchat filter. You can create them ahead of time. I paid $10 for a 4 hour geofilter that will be active around my reception venue.

The agency who is doing our invites is creating a snap chat filter for us for $10. I'm not sure what the process is after that, yet. Unica Forma is the agency we're using. I imagine this design is more affordable than others.

Instagram is easy, just create your personalized hashtag for everyone to use. And snapchat geofilters are actually very affordable. We are going to purchase one and it's only about $10 for 5 hours or so.

What's the point of the geofilter?

@Joanna - I believe that when your geofilter time is up, you get a copy of any photo that used it. It also just looks cute.
