I'm so glad it did. That was what i was hopping for. I wanted something good to come out of this virus. I hope you stick to your day. Make it your own. It will honestly be very memorable, even if its with a few people or just you two.

Thank you so much. The venue included everything, even the cake. So when the venue cancelled on us, i knew it was over. I got so sad. But my husband kept telling me we are going to make it our day. I just loved how optimistic he was. Normally i am the one who is lol. But we used a bluetooth speaker and played music from there. It was just so sweet and i sure hope you don't change the date and make it your own.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I did have a lot of people tell me to do another ceremony. My parents and his, never once pressured us. My husband and i are lazy lol. I told him, lets do something small and that's it. I don't think i can redo something like that again lol. But the day was just so perfect. Like if the wedding was big, i don't think i would've known who was there. But this made is so intimate and beautiful. What weddings are really about, being with people who are going to root for your marriage. So hope all goes well in your wedding day. Make it your own.

Thank you so much. I'm so glad this post gave you some hope. I was back and forth but i'm so glad we stuck to the date. It was so perfect. I think if we would have postponed it, we would've been way more stressed. Even though i had a fear my little sisters wouldn't be allowed in the ceremony, they did. It was everything i ever want and even more.

Were you able to get a refund of your deposit from your venue or any other vendors? Our venue includes our ceremony site, reception site, an AirBnB for the weekend, a bridal suite, all and catering including dessert (but not alcohol), as well as our tables and most of the chairs (we needed to rent a few extra for the ceremony site). Our additional vendors are bartending service, DJ, linens and extra chairs rentals, and photographer. My worry about downsizing is forfeiting all/most of our deposits, which amounts to just under $5k. If we could get refunds from everyone, I would go the super intimate wedding route and not even worry about not having a big party.

Yess! I love this! Our backup plan for July is making ours a 10 person wedding at my parents' and this just reassures me! You are so right, all that matters is love, not a huge guest list!
