Did you get used to your significant others Snoring? How long does it take or have any couples done anything to fix this issue? My minds been racing with the wedding in two weeks and have been unable to fall asleep before him then I'm stick moving to the other room or staying up way too late. I'm hoping once my minds not racing I'm back to falling asleep before him but wondering if any couples have any advice for this issue.

I snore when I'm utterly exhausted. I also have really bad restless leg syndrome. FH said the constant moving of my legs is what wakes him up. We're considering buying a king size bed due to it, but I've decided to try some meds for it. Smiley smile

My FH snores too, occasionally, more so if he has stuffy nose, or is super tired. If you notice he chokes in his sleep, perhaps talk to your doctor and see if a sleep study is warranted. My FH loves to sleep on his back, but will change to sleep on his side to minimize snoring if it's been bad lately.

Mine snores sometimes but I always fall asleep first so it doesn't matter. The few times he's kept me up I just nudge him and if that doesn't work I will sleep on the couch. I don't mind the couch, it's comfortable.

He may have sleep apnea. Get him tested. If he does, the machine will eliminate the snoring. The apnea machine is soothing white noise. Sleep apnea is life threatening and can lead to hypertension and heartdisease.

Fh snores a lot. It bothered me at first but now it helps me fall asleep. What bothers me when he steals my blanket (we have seperate blankets for a reason) and he stretches his leg out over me. It never fails to wake me up.

Since FH lost about 20 lbs, he doesnt snore that much any more. If he is, i usually get him to wake up and turn onto his side and that usually knocks it out.

Growing up my dad was a horrible snorer! I couls hear him down the hallway most nights. He has been diagnosed with sleep apnea but he has also lost a bit of weight and that has helped.

This is a huge issue for us - he's always snored, even when we first met. I almost always fall asleep before him and he's good about leaving the room if I wake him up and tell him he's snoring. He had some success with this thing called a Zyppah http://zyppah.com/ but he doesn't really use it anymore because it "makes him feel like he's choking" sometimes.

I am SUCH a light sleeper! And my husband snores. Ear plugs are my best friend!

These are ones I used to wear practically every night for years (since college, so over 13ish years now): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0037F92RC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They block out sound well, didn't hurt my ears, and stayed in my ears.

Now that my husband wears earplugs occasionally, we have to buy more, and he tends to lose them. Those ones kept getting expensive to buy regularly, so I just bought a 10-pack of these ones the other week: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BWMFXRO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

At first I hated them. They have a similar concept as the ones above, but they are larger and didn't fit in my ear well and they hurt my ears. But after wearing a few times, now they've formed to my ears better and they don't hurt. They block out sound well and they stay in.

Ear plugs all the way for a light sleeper plus having a snoring spouse! :-)

FH snores sometimes but not loudly. I'm used to it. What I can never get used to is the way he has to flail all over before falling asleep! just stay still dude! But I 99% of the time go to bed earlier so I'm asleep by flail time.

You should maybe try getting one of those noise machines. Ours makes ocean sounds and it helps drown out the snoring

Growing up I always heard my dad snore through the wall and it became sorta therapeutic to me (weird, I know right?) so now when FH snores (not nearly as bad as my dad does) it actually helps me go back to sleep.

There's also fan apps that you can use that help drown out the noise a bit! I use that whenever it's too quiet in the room or something annoying is happening outside.

Mine talks and smacks his lips in his sleep. The only thing it hinders us from doing is cuddling in our sleep because I will wake up to him smacking and talking and its extremely hard to sleep with that. It also has its funny moments. He tells stories and yaks away about all kinds of stuff. I could listen to him sleep-talk all night Smiley smile

I use Hearis extreme ear plugs every night and they're awesome. FH also uses breath right extra and we have an adjustable base bed so we have the head up a few degrees and it works like charm
