sns wedding nails

Mrs. C, on March 4, 2019 at 2:45 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 14

Hey guys! So I have been getting SNS for a while and I am not a fan of acrylic or any other type of nail products just because SNS doesn't absolutely ruin my nails unlike the other products. Anyways, I was wondering how you all are getting your nails done using SNS and if you are doing just a french manicure or colors?

Would love suggestions! I have thrown around the idea of blush (one of my wedding colors), a french manicure, or other neutral colors.

I will probably do SNS in a very light pink or a nude color.

Is SNS the same as dip nails? I'm doing gel just because I always do, but I plan on getting all white nails for our wedding day.

I’ll probably do an ombré play off of the French tip! Love the dip powder for sure

Pretty! I usually get an ombre french tip for my every day nails, it's really pretty and I always get a lot of compliments!

When you do the ombre, do you do gel or acrylic? I have been told they can't do ombre with the dip powder.

Nope you can totally do this with dip! It takes a bit longer and a bit more cost-wise but I’ve had ladies next to me get it done! I love it as well haha

Yay! You’re so welcome! Just bring a pic for the tech and they will get it worked out for you. I’d suggest getting it done before the wedding as a test just to make sure you like it and get a tech who is skilled enough 😊

You can do it with dip powder but they have to use the alkalade (spelling?) which is the liquid they use for the acrylic with the dip powder. Basically it's like getting your nails filled but with whatever color you choose. As your nails grow out you can keep adding new colors/shades to get an ombre with multiple colors (depending how long you want your nails)
