I get married in 25 days, and I just a few minutes ago found out my wedding band doesn't fit. I haven't gained weight, and it fit when I got it. I get married in 25 days, and I just a few minutes ago found out my wedding band doesn't fit. I haven't gained weight, and it fit when I got it. It's also part of a set and the engagement ring fits, though my finger does seem a bit swollen and the ring only comes off with soapy water. I'm hoping it's water weight because of the crazy heat we had over the weekend here. I did notice my ankles swollen when I took my socks off yesterday. I will NOT freak out about this. What I will do is increase my water intake and watch the sodium in what I eat. I've been on a weight loss plan for a long time, had gastric sleeve surgery a few years ago. I just plan to buckle down and make sure it fits without starving myself. I will and can do this! I'm glad I am diligent about writing down what I eat and drink or i'd be flipping out. I'm proud of myself for not crying and having a breakdown about it this close to the wedding. I'll keep you posted.

Time to increase the distance and or time on my daily walks too!

It sounds like swelling due to heat. I wouldn't panic. Fiy, if your ring gets stuck Windex will help get the ring off. Old healthcare trick.

Try and stay away from the sodium on the days leading up to your special day. Don't fret over it and enjoy the best day of your life.

Does it fit over your knuckle with relatively no wrestling? That's normally a good indication of a good fit. It should slide over your knuckle snuggly, but you shouldn't have to wrestle your finger into submission to get it on.

I noticed for me that my ring fits more loosely/tightly depending on time of day. I agree with PP that your fingers are likely swollen, or you tried during a time of day where your hands are more swollen. If it fit well before and your body hasn't undergone any crazy changes, I wouldn't worry. Smiley smile Congrats, your wedding is almost here!!
